If your heart is wrecked that Chris Pratt and Anna Faris have split, you've got company

The Internet took it hard when Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split up. When Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow decided to "consciously uncouple," hearts were broken. But no one saw this coming. Hollywood super couple Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced late Sunday they're calling it quits  after eight years of marriage. "We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another," their joint statement read. Twitter erupted in a resounding NOOOOOOOOO! Some even proclaimed #LoveisDead. If your favorite Hollywood couple's marriage doesn't last, then what's the point of love? Let's hope another favorite couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, hold strong. Looking for another Hollywood leading man named Chris to pine after?  We've got you covered

You can't unsee this photo of an Australian teen's bloody feet

File this one under weird, freaky and gross. After about 30 minutes of soaking his feet at a Melbourne beach, teenager Sam Kanizay walked out of the water with his feet and ankles covered in what looked like hundreds of little bleeding pinholes . His parents promptly took him to the hospital — but marine experts are stumped as to what caused it. His dad returned to the beach the following night with a pool net full of meat and captured the animals he believes could be the culprits: "What is really clear is these little things really love meat." (Shudder.) If you want to see his bloodied feet, here is the photo.

Nothing stops Trump from tweeting, not even a vacation

Some people use their vacation to detox from social media and just enjoy life. Not President Trump. On Monday, he criticized Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut for discussing on CNN "potential collusion" between the Trump campaign and Russia. Cue a Twitter attack. Trump called Blumenthal a "phony Vietnam con artist" in a series of Tweets. While Trump's on his "working vacation" in New Jersey,  here's a list of books he might enjoy

North Korea is (still) very, very angry at the United States

Since North Korea's first nuclear test in 2006, the United Nations has imposed ever-tightening sanctions on the rogue regime to force it to halt its weapons programs. On Monday, the reclusive country threatened to launch "thousands-fold" revenge  against America after tough, new sanctions were approved by the U.N. Security Council over the weekend. North Korea is likely to perfect a nuclear-armed missile that could strike the U.S. within one to two years, according to estimates. One key reason the latest round of sanctions may fail? China, foreign policy experts say. Read our analysis.

#MondayMotivation: Flawless, short-haired girls are soccer stars

They have been asked to prove their gender, and were told they didn't deserve medals at soccer tournaments. Their ages are only 10 and 11, yet they have been ridiculed by opposing parents, coaches, even referees. But the three girls, with the help of their parents, coach and club, are sticking with each other — and with their look . "They're faced with this kind of situation and they take on the attitude of: 'You know what, we got this.' They are confident in what they do," said Molly Duffy, who coaches the Madison, Wis., team.
